A couple sections from my 1st play (I Believe)

stage black, music electro rockers, spoken verse.
patent leather lamp shade lowers during verse, lights slowly raising so lamp
shade visible as it lowers.

I saw a UFO and nobody believes me.
I was sixteen miles from home with nobody in sight.
The lights were so bright, I almost want to....

light inside lamp shade on full in green tone.

Kill Me!

lamp shade light out, stage in full black.

------------------------------------------------------------

It started with an a piece of toast, than an english muffin with
cheese wise, and ended with dirty hand towel on the floor with
a piece of onion peel below.

------------------------------------------------------------

This is a story of a man, over one year of his life, in 2008.
Where he saw the light.

Climbed though the hole to the other side.
Took a deep breath of humanity and
exhaled.

You've gotten use to it - I guess I will have to as well.
How do I, have I?
Need to see.

still alive?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------couple pages down---------------------

The sun crests the horizon,
I’m scared to!
Dare to close the blinds, but I prefer to have my eyes burnt out than have her inside.
I realize if I can’t see it doesn’t matter, for they have reached so deep into my mind.
I would have to kill myself to no longer have them strangle the breath, the wits out of this room that entraps me (my soul.)

The choice is no longer mine
what choice is that
I must find my mind
or find you!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I feel the floor
it vibrates with every word you say
say it to me,
tell your mind,
tell your friend
tell me your favorite line
I want to slit your face,
Open wide, wide open.
You made me lose my mind
The mind?
Did it to yourself
Slit your own face,
wide open

Splice it, slide it
the blade in the crack pry it apart,
Sever, your mind
       your reality
       apart.
Imagination, reality, separated apart,
distancing ideas of -
sanity, reality
insanity, sanity
fantasy
What's reality?
That's sanity!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did have a dream inside of a dream
brighter, clearer than reality
but still just a dream.

The city lays outside these doors
Why can't, I find the key to lock
my mind
wipe it clean of the horrors I have seen
inside the thoughts and the dreams.
That are mine, inside my mind,
By my side on this couch,
Besides my terrors that combine to be,
Me.

--------------------------------------- couple pages down------------

But, I hear
     I see
     I feel
my stomach aches, my skin burns
     my sight, my scent
     draws, and haunts
     me
     you?

Where is everybody?

From under there.
Please , God, Please Devil.
Who, am I? – Who, are they?
Why, will I / I will not let you do this to anyone else.
(me anymore)
I won’t let you –
Into my mind,
My mind, has not cracked, it has been weakened,
From
-no sleep
-the visions, but I have a new vision.
Your face, your state of mind is burned into my memory,
My video screen.
The light from behind my shut eyes,
-illuminates my mind, my human side.
I will hunt you till the day I die.

Take me away to another world, not caught between, all white / not caught outside the idea.
 What Idea?
The idea I don’t exist outside these walls.
NO!
Not heaven, on the other side –
Life, Live, Lie
Outside these walls that are my living hell. – I walk the streets, no one sees.
Through the window, there is no outside.
Outside these walls. – I am blind – What you want them to see?
Inside I!... see.
No me, them, the voices in your mind.

A dream just came back to me.
I use to fly there. River of skulls, trees made of femurs –
Flap the arms once sore up to the sky.
-come back -down
Where do we go, back up to the sky, into the forest
The black hole – the eyes
No just skulls empty of the mind / sight gone
Hard, cracked, sunken into the soil.
-bank left
-bank right
-straight back / back up to the sky
Calm, slow
