Queers and allies alike this happened in Kingston today. Please keep an eye on each other.. keep each other safe.. . "I just received two threatening astonishingly homophobic letters in the mail - warning us to move out of kingston and threatening us with bb Guns and escalating violence if we don't move. Claiming to be part of a "small but dedicated group of Kingston residents" and speaking in the name of Jesus. Do you know of any one else who has received letters like this in Kingston recently?"

Now, having said that I also think it is important to recognize that it COULD have been any of us in the LGBT community and that we are all potential targets for haters - this was hatred against two women in our community as well as hatred towards our community in general. The Whig now has access to this posting, and the women who were impacted directly by this are not ready to speak to the press, so please, if you know who these women are, do not post their names on this status. At this point I only know of one couple who has been targeted, so if you know from elsewhere about letters they are probably the same women. I did also find out about some hate propaganda posted at Confederation Basin prior to the Pride flag raising. If anyone saw those posters (which were removed by city workers prior to the event) please let me know

Toronto.....i hear so much hate out there for gay men (not women), HIV people, black Canadians, middle eastern people. and children. Today on my walk towards downtown from the east end where I live. I heard a woman saying she is waiting for her daughter to turn 10 years old so she can sell he virginity to highest bidder. She was hoping for 1000 but in our economy she may have to settle for 500. and pay per view at 50 - 50 split with the guy taking the daughter's virginity. its worth a lot she said

so this morning I poured some juice into a glass and it just shattered ....strange but what the stranger thing is i go and lay in bed after and I hear my neighbour from across the street going on about it. AGAIN my blinds are closed so how does she know, all i said when it happened was lets try that again......TORONTO u make me sick. thanks again for the helping hand, which only has a one finger showing to me and everyone else when you hear the racism, homophobia, and hate for children. F@‪#‎K‬ YOU as well.
